about

Psychedelic doom and post-metal in catalan.

Looking for something forceful? Discover Santacreu. “TOT S’ESVAEIX” is their overwhelming cover letter.
In times when darkness beats light, a derailed locomotive bursts in to make sense of this situation.
They are “Santacreu”, a three-piece band formed of members of well-known rock formations from the Catalan rock music scene, such as Malämmar, Your Grace, Syberia, The Eyes or Carontte, amongst others.
Their first single is called “Tot s’esvaeix” and it is included in the band’s debut EP “L’Oblit”, set to be released March 27th. Their heavy, progressive sound blesses us with strength and transports us to those sounds that, back in their time, branded bands like OM or YOB for life. The mix definitely has a distinct local touch that comes out as a resounding bang, which is indeed necessary in these times. Further information about release concerts and more soon.
